Fort Sam Houston ISD exists to serve the military child. We are dedicated to ensuring each child is met where they are, so we can help them reach their full potential. We are a family of lifelong learners who respect and honor individual differences, diversity, and talents.

As a school that serves almost exclusively children of military families, we understand the challenges and benefits of the mobile lifestyle of the service member and those that serve with them. We honor the importance of special programs created to inspire students to their highest level of learning.
