The Fort Sam Houston ISD application for the 2012 Strategic Foreign Language Expansion Program (S-FLEP) grant developed and increased language achievement in Spanish for elementary students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The project enhanced student learning opportunities, increased student proficiency levels, and provided research-based educator professional development.
