Cole Photographers Take High Honors at Rodeo Contest!

Congratulations to our incredible Cole Photographers who received top honors out of over 800 entries at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Photography Competition this year. Click the headline above to see a full list of those who placed in the competition.

Academic Decathlon Headed to State!

The academic decathlon team had a successful showing at their regional competition this weekend and will advance to state competition in El Paso on February 27th. Katherine Keenan placed 1st in math, economics and art, 2nd in music and social science, 3rd in essay and 2nd overall in the honors category.
Notable accomplishments were Akyma Bush in speech and Cole's top overall varsity, Braesha A. took Cole's top overall scholastic honor, Meagan R. in music, Gabriella S. in interview and Tristian B. in social science. Other members of the team include Jasmine G., Amanda Perez, Gabriella Saddler, Akyma Bush, and Morgan M. Sponsors are Mr. Lance Kaminsky and Mrs. Lily Reich. Way to go, AcaDec!

Request for Proposals

Fort Sam Houston ISD has issued a request for proposals for a pre-engineered modular building. Proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 13, 2017.

Incredible Message from Cole Sophomore

At the January school board meeting held January 19th, Cole sophomore, Phoenix, opened the meeting with an inspirational message by sharing an excerpt from an essay he wrote for his JROTC class. The assignment was to write about a community service event he participated in, his role in the event, and the lessons learned. Click the headline above to read the incredible message Phoenix shared.

Robotics Team Places 3rd in Area!

Congratulations to the Cole High School Robotics Team for placing 3rd in the TCEA Area 20 Robotics Challenge! They competed on Saturday, January 14th against 12 other teams from different schools and districts. It was a tough competition and the team really worked hard. They represented our school with great attitudes, teamwork, and perseverance. The students on the team are: Matthew Craig, Daniel Gonzalez, Amya and team captain, Henry Yowell. Way to go Cougars!!

Middle School Awards Assemblies to be Streamed Live

Cole Middle School will host its Awards Assemblies this week on Tuesday (8th grade), Wednesday (7th grade), and Thursday (6th grade). All assemblies will be held in Moseley Gym from 3:00 - 3:50 and all are invited to attend. If you can't make it person, all the assemblies will be streamed live. Course Expo on January 27

Students in grades 8 through 11 will have the opportunity to explore course options and endorsement tracks in a conference style setting during 6th through 8th periods.

Parent Registration Informational Meeting

The counseling staff of Robert G. Cole Middle/ High School invites you to attend an informational meeting about graduation requirements to help you help your student with the upcoming course registration process. There will also be information presented on the Alamo Academies Program and Dual Credit/Enrollment offerings.

Public Hearing to Share the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR)

Fort Sam Houston ISD is conducting a Public Hearing to share the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR). The public meeting will be held during the FSHISD Board of Trustees meeting which is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2017, in the Fort Sam Houston ISD Professional Development Center.
