COLE PHOTOGRAPHERS WIN HIGH HONORS!

Cole photography students started out their competition season with strong wins in the ATPI Fall Photo Contest. With almost 5000 entries from public and private schools across the country, Cole photographers came out on top in numerous categories. FSH ELEMENTARY RECEIVES MCEC PETE TAYLOR AWARD

The Fort Sam Houston Elementary School was one of this year's recipients of the Peter Taylor Award from the Military Child Education Coalition. The Pete Taylor Partnership of Excellence Award recognizes successful partnerships and projects that ultimately benefit military-connected children. COLE HIGH SCHOOL NAMED ONE OF THE BEST!

Public Hearing on TAPR

The district will host a public hearing on its 2019-2020 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) during the Board Meeting scheduled for January 21, 2021, at 11:00 am. The meeting will be streamed live on the district Facebook page at www.facebook.com/fshisd.

Fort Sam Houston ISD Schools Receive Purple Star Designation

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) announced on Thursday that both Fort Sam Houston Elementary School and Robert G. Cole Middle and High School have been awarded the Purple Star Designation for their support and commitment to meeting the unique needs of their military-connected students.

Fort Sam Houston Independent School District will hold a public meeting on November 19, 2020 at 11:00am in the Professional Development Center at
1908 Winans Road, San Antonio, Texas. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Fort Sam Houston Independent School District’s rating of “A” for “Superior Achievement” on the state’s financial accountability system.
