Cole Homecoming Parade!

We hope you can join us this Friday, October 19th for the Cole Homecoming Festivities! The evening will start with a parade from the Youth Center, heading down Winans Rd. at 5:00 pm. Tailgate activities will follow in the stadium parking lot with fun, food, and entertainment. The game starts at 7:30 and all military members in uniform get in free. Come join the fun!

College and Career Day - October 18, 2019

The annual Cole College and Career Day is this week. Middle and High School students will enjoy presentations from career field experts about their jobs and what it takes to make it after high school. High school students and their families can review presentation options by perusing the attached pamphlet.

Notice of Public Meeting for FSHISD's State Financial Accountability Rating

Fort Sam Houston Independent School District will hold a public meeting on October 18, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Media Center Building of Robert G. Cole High School at 4001 Winans Road, San Antonio, Texas. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Fort Sam Houston Independent School District’s rating of “A” for “Superior Achievement” on the state’s financial accountability system.

Early Dismissal on Friday September 7

On Friday, September 7, 2018, students at Fort Sam Houston ISD schools will be released early so that staff can participate in professional development. Fort Sam Houston Elementary School will release at 12:05 p.m. and Robert G. Cole Middle and High School will release at 12:35 p.m. Bus schedules will be adjusted for early dismissal. Sack lunches will be available for purchase.

The 2018 – 2019 District Calendar contains early dismissal days to target the specific needs of each campus, provide on-going training for all new employees, and engage all staff in learning and research as we build capacity to instill innovations that benefit our students. Early dismissal allows teachers to collaborate between grade levels, content areas, and campuses in ways not possible during the school day.
