The Fort Sam Houston Business and Finance Department strives to provide our students with the ideal learning environment through financially sound decision making made in the best interest of our community. We are proud to have received "Superior Achievement" in the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas.
Tax Property Notice: Because Fort Sam Houston ISD resides entirely on federal military property (Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston), the district has no local property tax base. Therefore, state-mandated postings related to local school tax rates, tax ratification elections, and the Homeowners' Bill of Rights are not applicable to our district.
